Social distancing has been one of the most important measures to slow the spread of contagious disease. Yet in some industries – petrochemicals, mining, and gas especially – maintaining a safe distance between workers isn’t easy to achieve, putting the health and wellbeing of employees at risk.
With help from the Sustainable Innovation Fund, hazardous area equipment provider Extronics has developed sustainable, low energy, worker tracking solutions to enhance the functionality of its iTag X30 safety tag. The tag is helping to ensure worker safety in challenging environments in the most sustainable way yet.
